Gotcha Day

Here he is! It was an emotional day, just like getting Ravenna. We got to the CA office around 9:30 & he came in about 10 minutes later. The Dr. from the orphanage brought him. He walked in and said "mama, papa". He didn't cry at all for the first 15 minutes. He started to a little at the very end when we were walking out & he couldn't see me, but stopped once I came back in view. Our guide Ivan was in awe, he said he was the first child who hasn't cried. We gave him a car & a transformer & that seemed to keep him happy. He talks up a storm, if only we knew what he was saying....should be interesting. We have had every emotion since we have been back in the hotel. Here are some examples: he is a little stubborn & cried when we took the crayons away (after he colored on the wall), he dances & sings, he loves his toys, he goes potty on the toilet(due to the language barrier we just had our first accident), he eats (a lot), and he sleeps well. It has been quite a day so far & it is only 4:30.
We hope you enjoy the pictures & videos.
We are thrilled to finally have him with us.
Loves & kisses to Ravenna for us...we sure do miss her.

First time meeting mommy
At Civil Affairs office

All tuckered out

Checking things out with daddy

Happy boy!

He likes to wrestle....he is all boy!

All clean, in new American clothes & under ware instead of the split pants.

Loves to clap & just learned to say "yeah". He has already mimicked us & said "car" & "thank you", learning fast.

Here he is in the Civil Affairs Office just after we got him.

Congratulations on your beautiful boy! We adopted two Wuhan cuties last summer, and Ivan was our guide too! We love him! Please tell him hello from Rob and Laine Ferrill. He'll remember us as the ones who brought our four children to Wuhan to adopt our two toddlers for a total of SIX children he had to put up with on tours! ;)
Looking at your pics brings back such memories!
God bless you and your beautiful family!

Amy and Stephan- Congrats he looks like a natural wake boarder cant wait to get him up behind the Monster Tower. I have come up with a new nickname because Hud Lud was not a big hit. After seeing the videos I feel like Hudro is the perfrct nickname for him. Before you say no to Hudro think about how cute this little jingle would be. Hudro and Demo sitting in a tree K-i-s-s-i-n-g you know the rest. Congrats from me Kristie. Demo just took a poop have to go change her. Tell Stephan AOMFA
