We were lucky enough to spend some time with my good friend Tricia's family on the tail end of their vacation at our cabin. They rented it for a week & had both sides of their family up. Another fun summer memory. Thanks Trish!

I LOVE watching the Olympics. I find my self in awe of what these athletes can do, they are so inspiring (apparently not enough though). At night I look back on my day and count the hours I logged watching the Olympics & it makes me feel like a slug! I have resided my self to the sport of "tube watching" during these next couple of weeks during the Olympics. I am hoping some of you feel the same way & are living vicariously through these phenomenal athletes....like I am.

Texas foursome & The "Looner"

We had the pleasure of spending a few days with Stephan's brother Johnny's family from College Station, TX. It was Hudson's first time meeting his cousins Samuel & Maddy Rose. As usual the kids had a ball. We celebrated the kids summer birthdays at nana & papa's & spent a day at Silverwood. We had a great time & wished we saw them more often.

We spent a great evening at Loon Lake with our friends. The kids had fun & so did we until around 10:45. Those of you who were there know what I'm talking about. Lets just say if I make my way back up to Granite Point I will have to use my maiden name. Thanks to the Todd's, Flanigan's & Vandebogarts's for such a fun night. A special thanks to the Ferarro's for the use of their trailer for about 6 hours.

Hudson turns 3!

Happy Birthday to Hudson!

He turned 3 years old on July 25th. Hudson has almost been in our lives 5 months, and we can't imagine it without him. He is a very energetic, caring, and sweet boy.

Growing up I always secretly envied my cousins whose birthdays fell during the summer months. Oh how I wanted my birthday party during the summer at the lake. Well now I am able to have my day through Hudson. He is our one summer birthday so here is to many more summer birthday celebrations at Priest Lake Hudson. We love you!
