Alpine Slide!

We took the kids up to Whitefish Mountain to check out the view & ride the Alpine Slide. They just put it in this year along with a Zip Line course. The kids are too young for the Zip Line, so we gave the slide a go. AWESOME!!! It was a fast, fun, long ride & soooo fun! We ended up going 3 times each. The kids had a ball & are still asking to go back. For anyone who is coming to Whitefish, this is a must do.

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to my husband Stephan. You have changed for the better when you added father to your resume of life. I am so fortunate to have you as are our 2 Chinese blessings. One of my favorite things is to watch you with our children. Thank you for all you do for us. I love you.

We were fortunate enough to have Papa over on Father's Day weekend as well. He even watched the monkeys for us, while we went over to some friends for a bbq.

Stephan and his dad.
Stories have been told when Stephan was younger he always wanted to be with his dad, whatever he was doing. Well fast forward 43 years & things haven't changed. My husband admires & respects his father immensely & still loves to spend time with him.
I also would like to thank my dad for the role he has played in my life. My dad has more fun than anyone I know. He makes the best out of every situation. I love when he gets laughing so hard he practically chokes. He is one of those people you always want to be around. I also admire, respect, and love my dad beyond words. Thanks for being my dad & here's to many more Father's Days. I love you!

China connection

We were able to meet up with the Hein family at Red Robin. We will forever have a special connection with them as we were both in China at the same time adopting our sons. Their cute little boy is Max & their darling daughter is Mckaden. They live in Seattle but have family in Spokane. Hopefully we can make this an annual event when they travel to the east side. The kids seemed have a ball & it was fun catching up & comparing stories. Thanks Lori!

Farm Chicks Show

Ahhhh! This is my absolute favorite show, it beats a garage sale any day. It was double the size this year with more fabulous vendors. For those of you who love to junk, antique, etc....check out their website for next years' show dates: http://www.thefarmchicks.com/.

Hudson's re-adoption!

Hudson became a U.S. citizen once our plane touched down on U.S. soil when we brought him home. So, he & Ravenna both have dual citizenship now. However, they both only had Chinese birth certificates which won't get you much here in the America. We readopted Ravenna a year after we brought her home & we did Hudson last Friday in Spokane. Now they will both have U.S. birth certificates & he will be able to get a passport. This was the last big paperwork item on our to do list. Superior Court Judge Cozza approved all our paperwork, so Hudson will soon have his U.S. birth certificate!! YEAH!!

The end of Pre-School for the summer

Hudson & Ravenna had their end
of year pre-school program. About half of the kids are going on to Kindergarten & the other half are returning to their school next year. The 2 teachers were great & the monkeys are now ready for summer.

So excited to check out "the loot" in their bags.

Miss Heater or Miss Feather as my kids call her, handing Ravenna her certificate.

Fishing Derby

The kids had their first real fishing experience. We lasted about an hour & didn't catch a thing. They thought the worms were pretty cool though.
